A hug in a mug

Its been very autumnal here today. I love the autumn, its my favourtite time of year. On my way to work this morning I was tempted to stop the car and get out to kick the large piles of golden coloured leaves that have been collecting on the pavements. I think I would of if it hadn't been so cold!

Although I love autumn I hate the dark evenings and mornings, they always make me want to curl up in bed and hibernate. I try to combat that feeling with a nice cup of chocolate with marshamallows, some hot buttered toast and a big ball of wool. What is it about this weather that makes me want to knit?

First batch

My first batch of Christmas cards for the year - lots more to go! I don't think I'm ever going to have enough stock for all the Christmas craft fairs Helen has signed up to so I hope she is being more productive than me!

World Card Making Day

Well, did you make anything? After a whole day of organising my supplies and with masses of good intentions I managed 5 cards in total - 3 of which were rubbish! Nevermind I did make two that I really liked.

I love the colour combination in this card, the spots and the button! It makes me so happy I've put it up in my craft room to keep me inspired. Does make it quite hard to stop thinking about cake though...

This stamp is from Everyday Button Bits from Papertrey Ink. I have been so excited waiting for this set to arrive so its no surprise I had to start using it straight away. I think this is going to be one of my all time favourites!
